up 2009 animated film review and film story
Up 2009 animated film review and story — it's one of the best movies about relationships, our dreams, and true love.
The film begins with innocent childhood, where we see a young boy named Carl watching a movie about adventures and explorers. He then tries to imitate what he saw with pure innocence while walking home. Suddenly, he stops when he hears a voice from an abandoned house and turns toward it to see a girl, a little girl named Ellie. Their acquaintance is not complete because Carl had a small accident.
Ellie visits Carl in his room one night after his accident to comfort his loneliness and shows him her adventure book so he can see that she shares his dreams and thoughts.
The two children grow up and get married. Here you see the most beautiful love stories. They make you wish you were one of them, and with every moment, the love becomes deeper and stronger.
The kind of love that Up 2009 showed us is truly rare and hard to find in real life, but I bet it inspired many people with the true meaning of love.
When I watched the animated film UP (2009) for the first time, I finished it and decided I would find a love like that, even if I spent my whole life searching for it.
Another thing we must mention here is the wonderful music that accompanies the scenes of their lives; it is very expressive and captivating, as if it is being played from the heart.
the tipping point in the 2009 animated film
Carl's lifestyle changes and becomes very dull, as we see him sitting outside his door watching the buildings being constructed around his old house, or just watching TV to pass the time. Suddenly, one day, he knocks on his door and finds a young Scout boy carrying a Scout badge, offering to help Carl. In any case, Carl tricks him so he will leave and not bother him. Later, Carl sees one of the giant loaders breaking his mailbox, so he runs over to try to stop it. He accidentally injures one of the workers at the construction site next to his house, but it’s unintentional. Carl gets very upset and rushes back into his house to hide... stay tuned.
Then Carl is summoned to court, and it is decided that he must move to an elderly nursing home. He spends a difficult night, unaware that he will be far from the house that held his whole life and his love for Elli. In the morning, the staff from the nursing home come to take him there. Suddenly, a surprise occurs: the house is shown with thousands of helium-filled balloons lifting it up and making it fly.
We then learn that Carl decided to go to the place he and Ellie had planned to visit before her death, which is Paradise Falls.
Carl begins his journey in his flying house toward his destination, feeling confident that everything is going well until he's surprised by someone knocking on his door while he's in midair. When he opens the door, he sees a Boy Scout standing there and becomes very upset. He considers taking him down, but suddenly, a fierce storm erupts, destroying the house, and Carl loses consciousness.
When he wakes up, he decides to search the entire house before leaving this boy, whose name was Russell. He goes downstairs, but a thick fog completely blocks his view. Carl is startled by many black rocks that nearly destroy the house, which then crashes hard into the ground, causing him and the young Boy Scout to fall, with the house almost flying away. He runs away from them but has trouble catching up, and he and Russell cling tightly to him. He then begins dragging them to the back of a mountain, from which they almost fall if they don’t hold on at the last moment.
The fog quickly clears, and Carl and Russell see Paradise Falls directly ahead, but on the other side of the mountain. They are stuck with the house. Russell suggests dragging the house to the waterfall like a kite, which he thinks is a good idea, and they start dragging the house.
During this time, a group of trained dogs is chasing a rare bird in the forest, but it escapes from them and hides. Meanwhile, Carl and Russell are crossing the same forest, and when they stop so Russell can relieve himself, the child spots this bird in front of him. He tries to take it, and surprisingly, he succeeds because the bird seems to love him very much. Carl, with the bird, follows Russell and tries to push him away, but the bird insists on staying with them, so Carl has no choice but to continue the journey.
While walking through the forest, they heard an unfamiliar voice welcoming them. When they responded and approached, they found only black rocks. Suddenly, a dog appeared in front of them, terrifying them. This dog was part of the group chasing a bird, and the secret behind his words was that he was wearing a collar to help him do this. He loved this dog, Carl, very much.
The group of dogs chasing the bird appears, searching for it and trying to track it down. We hear a dog sarcastically laughing at the voice of their leader, who activates a device that locates the dog who loved Carl and contacts him through it, revealing that he is with the bird, and then begins tracking and chasing them.
Indeed, the group of dogs manages to reach Carl and Russell, but they do not find the bird with them. They then attempt to capture it and force it to move toward their owner’s den. When they arrive, Carl and Russell find hundreds of dogs surrounding them from all sides, almost killing them—if not for the appearance of their owner, who ordered them to stop.
Their friend begins to approach Carl and Russell, only to realize that Carl is the biggest surprise in front of him. He recognizes their friend, despite his advanced age. He was the famous explorer Charles Muntz, who had always been an inspiration for Carl and his wife in their love of adventure and exploration.
Charles hosts Carl and Russell on his famous balloon, and while they are exchanging conversations, Carl discovers that he has spent his life searching for the bird that was with them. He realizes that he and Russell are in danger, especially when Charles learns that the bird was with them. Charles then starts trying to scare them until they tell him where the bird is. Suddenly, he hears his voice coming from the top of Carl's house. When he turns toward the sound, Carl takes advantage of his distraction, and he and Russell quickly flee the scene.
Charles orders the dogs to chase them, but they manage to escape with the help of the dog, who loves Carl, and also the bird, which was badly injured in its leg.
Carl and Russell try to help the bird and deliver it to his young children, but just as they are about to do so, Charles appears in his balloon, captures the bird, and then leaves.
Carl has no choice but to keep trying to reach Paradise Falls, despite Russell's anger and sadness because he will leave the bird to its fate. When he gets there, he finds that Russell has made a small balloon out of balloons and has fled with it in an attempt to reach the bird and help it. Carl immediately decides to follow him, fearing for him.
Russell manages to reach the balloon and gets inside, but the dogs easily catch him. At the same time, Carl reaches the balloon, and very exciting events unfold as Carl and Charles fight, creating an adventure that keeps you on the edge of your seat, until Charles falls from the balloon and Carl takes control.
Carl says goodbye to his house, which fell during these events, and he and Russell say farewell to the bird that caused all of this. Then, they start their journey back to the city in the balloon.
The final scenes of the 2009 animated film UP are beautiful and truly touching. They reveal a new love story between Carl and Russell, with Carl visiting him at a Boy Scouts gathering to stand by his side as he receives the Old People Aid Medal, and presenting him the special medal for Ellie.
My words and review.
- Finding true love is a rare treasure in this world.
- If you lose a loved one someday, don't let that prevent you from loving others.
- Strength, generosity, and a beautiful spirit arise among creatures through their sense of love and compassion for each other.
- Your goals and dreams in life should naturally involve others and not be solely focused on you.
